Maybe it wasn't the mouse, maybe it was....my advice then is to just keep trying. Is the firmware for the on-board keyboard upgradeable? Do I need a transit visa to travel through Beijing to Melbourne? That will provide newer drivers.
I get to the screen where you need to press ENTER to continue and nothing happens. Most times it will work fine for hours. I do believe I ordered the SP2 disc from MS so I have it, but not on the same disc. Not the answer you're looking for? It must fix your bug. The XP disk I have is WXP Pro SP2, it's from an iso I got from my brother and I burned using disk utility.
