The Autorun capabilities are restricted to CD-ROM drives and fixed disk drives. These commands are still available for CDs and DVDs in Windows 7, but not for USB sticks. I put a cd\ command at the start of the bat file, and it seems to be working now even when the drive letter changes. A RMB set to zero indicates that the device is not a removable media device. But, if I go into My computer, the USB drive is there, and I can "manually" launch the portableApps menu. The OPEN command is not supported at all for USB flash drives in Windows 7. If you need to make a USB storage device perform Autorun, the device must not be marked as a removable media device and the device must contain an Autorun.inf file and How can I find them again, so I can choose a different action?
