I have a CMD5 on my Dancer 290da and it just did the same - cockpit speakers stopped working. They were tucked neatly under the cooler out of site. Or as CantRepeat mentioned, if cabin speakers are running off the amp, could be an amp issue. I haven't been able to find any loose wires or anything. It's easy! If you can, then move the red test lead to the TURN ON connection, (usually blue wire from the radio) and with the radio on, see if there is 12 volts click site Do they each have their own run directly from the stereo...or do 4 of them operate together and the other 2 are separate?
Since you're already on your second stereo, this is not likely. You might look at the settings on the head unit for balance and fade too. Oh...one thing....how are the speakers wired? I'm hoping this is a quick, easy fix and I'm just overlooking something...
